Craft your own miniature masterpieces using soft, vibrant air-dry clay. Each class features a fun theme to spark your imagination—whether you’re shaping cute animals, delicious food, or unique figurines. Your creations will dry to a durable, hard finish in just 24 hours. With endless possibilities for tiny sculptures, have fun bringing your ideas to life with clay.

Learn the basic techniques of making a quilt: cutting fabric, piecing the blocks, and sewing the quilt top. The finishing steps of pinning the quilt layers, quilting the quilt, and binding the edges will be demonstrated in the last two classes. We will use a traditional design that you can modify in size from a table runner to a throw quilt (depending on the fabric you select). A well-tuned sewing machine is required, and although this class is for beginner quilters, you must know the basics of how to use it.  Please note: To keep up with the pace of the class, independent sewing will be necessary between classes. A materials list will be emailed once the class has reached minimum enrollment.It’s possible that fabric and supplies could exceed $100 depending on project size. 

Have fun doing creative hands-on experiments that go beyond what you would learn in school. We’ll dabble in chemistry, physics, and engineering. Focus on things that fly by constructing paper helicopters, launching straw rockets, and participating in a paper airplane challenge. Build a marble maze, a spaghetti tower, and more. Do chemistry experiments, explore electricity, and get “attracted” to magnetism, then make a flip book about our experiments to take home and share.
