Classes for high school students
Screen printing is among the most versatile and dynamic forms of artmaking. It can stand alone as a print on paper, be incorporated into paintings and mixed media, or be used to turn out original T-shirts and other textiles. It can be layered and painterly, or solid and geometric. This class will explore a wide variety of screen printing techniques. In addition to trying out monoprinting and multi-layer methods, we will experiment with exposure units, photographic imagery, and hand-drawn and cut stencils. All levels welcome.
