Chinese Kitchen: Scallion Pancakes 蔥油餅

ACE Kids K-12 / Life Skills -
Spring 2024

Any dim sum meal or order of Chinese takeout will never feel complete without scallion pancakes (cong you bing). Crispy and flaky on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside, this appetizer is the ideal starter to any Asian feast. We will mix and knead the dough before incorporating a chopped green onion filling, then we’ll pan fry in oil our delicious layered pancakes.
