Classes for high school students
Challenge yourself to get from point A to point B in the most creative, entertaining, fastest and most efficient way possible, without the help of equipment. Parkour is like urban gymnastics, and lets you turn the entire world into your personal playground. In a non-competitive atmosphere, you’ll conquer natural and man-made obstacles by running, vaulting, jumping, climbing and rolling. Improve balance, coordination, strength, spatial awareness, and flexibility through games, exercises, and drills.
Parkour Generations Boston was founded in 2012 as a branch of Parkour Generations Americas and is based in Somerville, Massachusetts. PkGen Boston runs classes and workshops for all ages and abilities throughout the New England region, working with a variety of municipalities, community organizations, schools, private companies, and individuals.
Our mission is:
1) To spread parkour in a safe, positive, and responsible manner and to expose the wider population to parkour training and values.
2) To effect positive social change in our communities through movement, leadership, and service.
3) To build a platform for our international network of passionate parkour professionals that can foster growth, share opportunities, and help us change the world one jump at a time.
