Classes for high school students
In this introductory acting class we will experiment with games, improv, voice, and movement to learn basic acting skills while having fun. Each class begins with warm-up games followed by acting exercises—ranging from silly to serious—that build focus, confidence, and communication skills.
CJ Donohoe is a performing artist, early childhood and elementary school dance and acting teacher, and arts administrator particularly interested in community theatre and dance making, performing arts for social change, and accessible k-12 and public arts education. She has taught workshops and classes at a variety of venues across New England such as Trinity College, Jacob's Pillow, the Foundry, and the Dance Complex. She has a BA in Educational Studies and Theatre & Dance, and graduated magna cum laude.
