Classes for high school students
Explore an enchanted world of magical creatures and the secret places they live. Learn drawing techniques to create your own charming characters such as fairies, elves, and trolls. Then bring them to life in an original storybook and a unique nightlight featuring your favorite fantastical friends.
Peggy Fenner, a retired Lexington early education teacher, has become a well appreciated local artist, writer and storyteller. Her recent children’s books and art exhibits have been featured on ACMi, LexMedia TV, and YouTube programs for two years. She has also created numerous multimedia storytelling workshops that have been featured at The Old Schwamb Mill. Her most recent Folk Fairy Art Installations including a Wishing Tree, a Weaving Garden and Fairy Shelter can be seen along the bike path overlooking Spy Pond.
