Classes for high school students
Express your comical observations and improve your drawing skills as you turn scribbles into hilarious cartoons and develop multi-sequence comic strips that tell a story. Learn how to express action, capture expression, and exaggerate key features to bring humorous and/or heroic characters to life.
Peggy Fenner, a retired Lexington early education teacher, has become a well appreciated local artist, writer and storyteller. Her recent children’s books and art exhibits have been featured on ACMi, LexMedia TV, and YouTube programs for two years. She has also created numerous multimedia storytelling workshops that have been featured at The Old Schwamb Mill. Her most recent Folk Fairy Art Installations including a Wishing Tree, a Weaving Garden and Fairy Shelter can be seen along the bike path overlooking Spy Pond.
