Classes for high school students
Make movies instead of watching them this summer! Go from “Action” to “That’s a Wrap!” as you work in groups to storyboard, shoot, and add voice-overs to a live action and/or stop motion movie.
Note: Fully produced Flix emailed within a month after the program ends.
Week 5 Grades 6-8
AM - Special Effects Flix: Explosions, tornados, meteors! Act, direct, and choose special effects to incorporate into these high intensity live action movies that will blow your mind.
PM - Minecraft/Roblox Flix: Make a movie featuring Minecraft or Roblox action figures or combine them into a mashup movie. Create a stop-motion movie full of games or challenges for your character to overcome.

While kids are busy using hands on activities in their movie making, they’re not even aware that they’re expanding their imaginations and gaining a plethora of tools for creativity.
