Classes for high school students
Turn a blank canvas into a colorful book cover or movie poster as you develop your creativity and graphic design skills. Using canvas and acrylic paint, pay homage to your favorite book or movie by recreating or reimagining the cover, or designing your own poster version. Show off your imagination and connection to the stories and movies you love.
Sidonie Pierce is a fifth grade teacher at Thompson School. Before becoming a teacher, she was a graphic designer working in the fashion world. She loves any chance she gets to work with students on their own artistic passions!
