Classes for high school students
Unleash your creativity by learning how to create your very own digital music composition. From start to finish, you will learn all of the ins-and-outs of what it takes to produce a song from scratch with the easy to use digital audio workstation Soundtrap. Discover how to compose a song in the style of your favorite music genre—everything from pop, techno, rap, and more. No prior musical experience is required, just a love and passion for music.
Mr DiTomaso has been teaching Music Technology in Arlington Public Schools since 2008. His program at AHS features student created musical works in at least 4 public concerts every school year. Mr DiTomaso is also a composer and performer himself and has performed and recorded professionally in the Boston area since 1988.
