Classes for high school students
Discover various printmaking techniques in this creative, hands-on class. Try monoprinting, gelli printing, styrofoam prints, block prints using linoleum or rubber that you carve yourself, and use a real printmaking press. Finish off the week by creating a book to show off all your newly-made prints. This class is open to all skill levels.
My name is Nikki McCulloch and I have been teaching at Arlington high school for the past 8 years in the visual arts department. I teach 2D courses in drawing, painting, portfolio and mural & set design.
Duru Ozkefeli is a multimedia artist and who loves to explore new techniques in her practice whether it’s printmaking, painting, needle felting, or flame-working. She credits Massachusetts College of Art and Design for helping shape her passions.
