Classes for high school students
Use Matisse’s paper cut outs, Frida Kahlo’s portraits, and the techniques of other famous artists as inspiration for your own artwork. We’ll talk about artists we love, study examples of their work, and then experiment with the drawing, painting, and collaging techniques that make their work so extraordinary.
I am from Arlington and have lived in the Boston area for the majority of my life. I studied Child Development, French, and Dance while I was at Tufts University, and I received my M.Ed. in Elementary Education from Boston College. I love working with students and families; I was a preschool teacher for several years, taught English in the south of France to French elementary schoolers, and have been teaching first grade in Brookline for the past three years.
