Fees are for one adult and one child unless otherwise noted. Please register under adult’s name.
Classes for high school students
Here is an excellent opportunity to continue playing your string instrument during the summer months. Together, we will learn new techniques and perform a variety of fun music. For children who have participated in the first year of the APS string program or who have had at least 10-12 lessons.
Please note: You must bring your own instrument, please let us know if that is a problem!
Michael Simon is a professional double bassist and music educator based in Boston, Massachusetts, and is currently a teaching artist for the Instrumental Music Program at Arlington Public Schools. Michael has performed with various symphonic, operatic and musical theater orchestras throughout the Greater Boston area, and has established himself as a versatile musician able to perform many different styles and genres. Beyond his career as a bassist, Michael is a passionate educator who enjoys helping students of all ages achieve their greatest potential as both young musicians and future leaders.
