CPR & First Aid: Adults, Children & InfantsWellness & LifeThis American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED course trains participants to provide first aid, CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner. Expect to learn about adult and child CPR and AED use, infant CPR, first aid basics including choking, medical emergencies, injury emergencies, environmental emergencies, preventing illness and injury, and opioid-associated life-threatening emergencies. This intensive, three-hour course is for anyone with little or no medical training. Participants will be emailed a course completion card, valid for two years. Educators and students can register at a reduced rate. Please register first and then email us within 24 hours and we will refund you for the amount. Important: Because this is a certification class, you must be on time. Students arriving more than 10 minutes late will be turned away and no refund will be granted.Fall 2025

Facial Yoga WorkshopWellness & LifePamper yourself with facial yoga. Learn how to tighten and tone facial muscles, which can help reduce wrinkles and leave your skin rejuvenated. You will also learn eye exercises to alleviate eye strain and a sequence of facial massage techniques. All of these techniques will be learned while seated in a chair. We will end class with a meditative guided relaxation, for which you can stay seated or lie down on a yoga mat. No prior yoga experience is necessary. There will be an emphasis on how to establish or continue a regular meditation practice, as well as how to bring these concepts into your daily life. Level 1: Receive the attunements believed to allow Reiki healing energy to flow through your hands. Each participant will get a complete Reiki treatment and then practice giving one to another student. We will cover health effects, how to best utilize this gentle healing modality for the benefit of yourself and others, and how to open a Reiki practice. Note: Receive a Reiki Level 1 certificate at the successful completion of the training. Level 2: Add power and versatility and enhance your Reiki with three specific practical techniques.
