Hand-Poured Candle Making

Create a coconut soy-based wax candle and a set of wickless wax melts that release their scent when heated. Learn the ins-and-outs of candle making, including choosing wax, wicks, colors, and fragrances, as well as a bit of history on candles. Combine your favorite color and fragrance to pour your own shaped candle and set of fragrant wax melts.

Elisha Verhaar
Elisha Verhaar is a full-time PhD student who started making candles about 2 years ago. Looking for unique favors for her wedding, she created succulent-shaped candles that were received so well that she started "Bits of Joy Gifts." She now sells a wide variety of unique shaped candles online and in-store. She hopes to spread her love for candle-making further by hosting fun workshops and brightening people's lives with her handmade Bits of Joy!
