Classes for high school students
Strategy, creativity, and friendly competition collide! We’ll start each session with quick, fun brain-break activities to build community and sharpen problem-solving skills. Then we’ll play multiplayer board games that test your tactics, teamwork, and quick thinking. Play familiar classics like Scrabble and Monopoly or discover new favorites like Happy Salmon and Splendor. Whether you’re a seasoned player or new to the table, join us to think, strategize, and play your way to victory.
Rob Mahoney is a sixth grade history teacher in Melrose, runs the Melrose middle school chess club, and was the girls varsity soccer coach for the last seven seasons. When he is not teaching or coaching, he likes to spend time with his two kids and play sports and board games.
