Classes for high school students
Investigate the fundamentals of mixed media creation, focusing on color, layering, and composition. Discover the tools and materials used in mixed media design, explore its history, and gain hands-on experience with printing and group collage projects. Create a series of collages using either found materials or your own artwork and deepen your understanding of the creative process as you combine one or more mediums into one art piece.
I am a recent graduate from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, where I studied Fine Arts. I am committed to creating a fun, safe, and inclusive learning environment for all students. My passion is making art easily accessible and comprehensive for all ages. My favorite part about being an art teacher is to witness their unique artistic expression through the process of exploration and discovery with different mediums!
