Spend the day playing team sports and cooperative games you love, everything from soccer, basketball, and dodgeball, to variations of games like kickball and Capture the Flag. Bring your own game ideas, or think of new twists on traditional ones. -
You’ve Got Game!
Always a blast, You’ve Got Game! will get you playing many active and exciting games cooperatively as teams, and as individuals. Activities may include classics such as capture the flag, kickball, floor hockey, bowling, relay races, t-ball, and golf. With unique and sometimes crazy spins on traditional sports and gym games, this class is destined to get you to exercise, laugh, and have fun! -
Ultimate Frisbee
Ultimate frisbee is a super fun, non-contact game that combines the qualities of football, basketball, and soccer. We will practice different frisbee throwing and catching techniques and learn route-running skills for when you don’t have the frisbee. Ultimate frisbee has no referee, so you’ll learn about good sportsmanship too. -
Backyard Games
Come outside and play! Get moving and have fun playing tons of different backyard games. Aim flying discs into cans during Kan Jam, try to get bolas to catch onto the rungs of our Ladder Bowl, toss bean bags into a classic Cornhole board, and more. -
Ninja Warrior
Jump, hang, climb, and balance as you train to be a ninja warrior. Using an amazing array of specialized equipment, we’ll play games, complete drills, and tackle an obstacle course inspired by the hit TV show. Scale up cargo nets on a truss, walk across balance beams, climb over an A-frame, and hang on monkey bars as you build strength, endurance, balance, agility, and coordination. -
Parkour
Challenge yourself to get from point A to point B in the most creative, entertaining, fast and efficient way possible, without assisting equipment. Parkour is like urban gymnastics, and lets you turn the entire world into your personal playground. In a non-competitive atmosphere, you’ll conquer natural and man-made obstacles by running, vaulting, jumping, climbing, and rolling. Improve balance, coordination, strength, spatial awareness, and flexibility through games, exercises, and drills. -
Survivor
The challenge is on! Outlast, outplay, and outwit using your mental, physical, and creative skills in your very own season of Survivor. We’ll recreate some of the challenges from the top TV show and work individually, in pairs, and as a tribe to overcome the obstacles. In our version no one will be voted off the island! -
Hiking Adventures
Join an avid outdoorsman and your peers on hiking adventures through local wilderness areas such as the Middlesex Fells Reservation, Walden Pond, and Blue Hills Reservation. As we tackle trails of varying distances and challenges, we’ll read and follow maps, observe nature, learn about safety, enjoy group camaraderie, and build endurance. We’ll also learn about outdoor preparedness and wilderness etiquette. Our week will culminate in a full-day hike to New Hampshire’s White Mountain National Forest. Transportation and all necessary hiking equipment will be provided. Please note: Friday class for full day hike meets 9:30 am - 5:30 pm -
Hoops & Hits
Do you love batting practice or shooting hoops with friends? Have fun and sharpen your skills as we practice both basketball and baseball by playing games, holding contests, and doing drills. Take your hitting, pitching, throwing, and fielding skills to the next level while also working on dribbling, shooting, and defense through friendly, competitive games.All levels welcome. Please note: You must bring your own mitt. -
Nathan’s Ninjas
Join Sensei Nathan for his dynamic and hugely popular class known for its fun games and teamwork-oriented atmosphere. Learn a mix of traditional Kempo Karate with elements of sport karate, tumbling, and grappling. This week will give you a true self-defense perspective, all while having fun and building confidence.
