Classes for high school students
Jumpstart your sketching practice with this two-hour workshop focused on pen and watercolor. We’ll explore essential supplies, discuss various approaches to sketching, and complete hands-on exercises that will enhance your skills and build your confidence. You will create a pen and watercolor drawing that showcases your new skills. Suitable for all levels. Materials will be provided.
Namrata Siviya received her BFA in Applied Art at Govt. College forArt in Chandigarh, India. She went on to study filmmaking at National Institute of Design in Ahmedabad to further explore visual language. Through her drawings and paintings, she explores human nature, the self and the absurdities of our modern, daily lives. She is passionate about examining the process of making art and its role in healing. She works from her studio, The Purple Pencil, in Bedford, MA, where she also holds classes and workshops as a way to provide a nurturing space for others and support their creative journeys.
