Classes for high school students
This energetic dance class features a combination of street dance styles, including hip hop, locking, and house. Created in the 70s and 80s, these styles have roots derived from even earlier times. Each week you will learn a new routine choreographed to different music. The focus is on having a good time—the only real structured moves are smiles and laughs!
Cedric Crowe has over twenty five years of professional dance experience, including with the Alvin Ailey School of Harlem, the Adrian Hawkins Dance School of Boston, and the Janette Neil Dance Studio of Boston. He is well versed in stage and television production and has danced/choreographed for major recording artists. Cedric is also pursuing a career in acting and enjoys doing stand-up comedy.
