Fees are for one adult and one child unless otherwise noted. Please register under adult’s name.
Classes for high school students
Gradually develop strength while also conditioning the muscles and joints. We’ll start with a warmup that leads to a sequence of exercises with and without weights. We end with “finishers,” which are core strength-oriented drills and a short stretching set. This format will be repeated for a number of weeks to give us the chance to improve form and breath, and increase the weight we lift. Every few weeks, we’ll modify our routine to continue to build strength and conditioning.
Students must bring: Yoga mat, a set of weights (5-15lb, depending on your preference/strength level) and resistance bands.
Karina Lambert has been a yoga and dance teacher since the 1980's, and has loved the role of sharing with others her passion for both. She has created and choreographed events nationally and internationally for people of all ages. With humor and compassion she tries to focus on what her students need. Karina also enjoys psychology, meditation, traveling and nature. She also speaks five languages.
