Visit the Vilna Shul on Beacon Hill, the only surviving landmark of Boston’s immigrant Jewish past, to learn about this historic synagogue building and the community that founded it in 1919. Explore the art and science of genealogical research and its relevance to the revitalization and restoration of the shul. At the end, enjoy refreshments in the sukkah, a temporary structure that plays a role in the Jewish fall holiday calendar. Please note: The Vilna offers $5 validated parking at the Charles River Plaza Parking lot, 207 Cambridge Street.
