Bonjour! Learn everyday French through active fun. Playfully groove to music, create comic skits, sing along with popular French songs, and make up rules to lively games. As we practice French phrases and conversation, you’ll sharpen your storytelling ability, try dance steps, and make nouveaux amis (new friends).
Sophie Leurent is originally from France and a graduate of the French Conservatory of Dance in Rennes, Bretagne. Before moving to Arlington she performed dance in Paris for ten years and has been training in Expressive Dance since 2018 with dance therapist France Schott-Billmann. She leads dancing retreats for teens and dance classes for adults, and every summer, with her four children and husband, she joins a family dance camp, where she continually discovers the power of expressive dance.
