No leaves? No problem! We’ll learn to identify trees in winter through a combination of branching patterns, bark, buds, persistent fruits, and galls . Our walk will focus on plant identification as well as interesting natural history about the plants we see.
Please note: Children ages 10+ are welcome to register if accompanied by a registered adult. Meeting location will be emailed upon registration.
Roland “Boot” Boutwell is a teacher/naturalist who regularly leads nature hikes focused on the diverse flora and fauna of our region.
