Creativity and curiosity collide as you bring scientific concepts and inventions to life through 2D and 3D projects. Experiment with graph paper and simple techniques to create stunning 2D drawings and eye-popping 3D illusions. Use modeling clay, cardboard, and other materials to design and build unique models. Craft intricate chain reaction contraptions or marble mazes using all kinds of materials. You’ll have the freedom to explore the areas of art and science that spark your imagination the most.
Julie Gallagher has been teaching middle school science for the last 25 years, and at Ottoson for the past 122 years. Her favorite part of teaching science is helping the students explore, create, and learn through hands on experiments.
