Sculpt and cast a unique bronze amulet of your own design. Use your imagination and inspiration from symbolic imagery to develop a personalized design, then sculpt it in polymer clay. You will use the clay pattern to build a sand mold, then carefully pour molten metal into the mold to cast your amulet in bronze. Finish your creation with cutting and polishing techniques to complete your one-of-a-kind amulet. All materials provided.
Barbara Sitar is a professional visual artist based in Prague and Boston. Fluent in various arts and crafts, she mentors and instructs individuals, teaches groups, and leads workshops and retreats on creativity and expanded consciousness. This unique set of skills manifests in her own artwork and teaching practice that spans from glass, metal casting, live drawing, and painting to jewelry.
