College Application Bootcamp
High School & College Planning
For AHS students only This four day course is designed for rising seniors who want help managing the many requirements of the college application process, and finetuning their essay. Work with AHS school counselors Danielle Rakowsky and Kathy Hirsch, along with English teacher Nicole Eidson to explore topics including: application time management and scheduling, resume-building, essay and supplement writing, interview preparation, and financial aid awareness. Driver's Education through CS Driving School (Note - Information Only)

PLEASE NOTE: This page is information only! All Driver’s Ed registrations must be done online through CS Driving School. To Register, please visit CS Driving School. Select Locations then click Enroll under Arlington Community Ed. $1129 Please note: The location of classes (online vs. in person) may be subject to change based on requirements of the Registry of Motor Vehicles. This class is for students who have reached the minimum age of 15 years, nine months by the first day of class. Fee covers online classroom hours and in person Behind-the-Wheel instruction. All Driver’s Ed registrations must be done online through CS Driving School at csdriving.com. In-Control Crash Prevention Training (Information Only)

Register at In-Control Crash Prevention In-Control Crash Prevention is a non-profit training program committed to helping reduce automobile crashes through hands-on training. Motor vehicle crashes are the number one killer of teens nationwide and the main causes are speed and inexperience. Students and their families can learn safety skills that can only be taught at In-Control’s unique closed course environment. Learn how to handle skidding, panic stops, tailgating, and emergency lane changes. This 4.5 hour course has been highly recommended to us by CS Driving School as a way to better learn how to handle unexpected driving situations. SAT Math Review
High School & College Planning
Prepare for the math section of the SAT in this course timed for the August or October digital exam. Become familiar with the types of questions and effective methods to handle them through practice tests. Individual analysis of these test results will reveal where improvement is needed for each student, and a post-test will be completed to measure progress. Please note: To each class, please bring a College Board ID and password, a calculator, and a fully charged laptop.
