Aim flying discs into cans during Kan Jam, try to get bolas to catch onto the rungs of Ladder Ball, and toss bean bags into a classic cornhole board. Hit balls past your opponent off a trampoline net in Spike Ball, test your precision in Bocce by landing your ball closest to the pallino, and pitch horseshoes to score a ringer on the stake. Enjoy the thrill of friendly competition and the challenge of mastering new games. -
Join the Circus!
Learn amazing tricks that will wow your friends and family. A real circus performer will teach you skills including hula hooping, spinning plates, balancing objects, twirling flags, and juggling. We will take our circus to new heights as we learn to walk on stilts. Together we will make a backdrop and end the week with a circus spectacular. -
Parkour
Jump into the dynamic world of parkour! Explore basic techniques in a safe and progressive setting while building your physical strength and developing self-confidence. Learn to embrace obstacles as an opportunity for fun and exploration and see your physical environment through “parkour vision,” where the whole world becomes your playground. This mix of indoor and outdoor activities is designed for a wide range of fitness levels and abilities. -
Ultimate Frisbee Squad
Ultimate frisbee is a super fun, non-contact game that combines the qualities of football, basketball, and soccer. We will practice different frisbee throwing and catching techniques and learn route-running skills for when you don’t have the frisbee. Ultimate frisbee has no referee, so you’ll learn about good sportsmanship too. -
Basketball Hoops Squad
Shoot some hoops! Beginning and recreational basketball players will practice dribbling, shooting, passing, and ball handling while also focusing on teamwork and supporting each other. We will review game rules, practice essential skills, and learn the art of offense and defense. Each day will include drills and a friendly game. -
Best of Boston DayTrippers
Explore Boston with five full days of exciting adventures. Activities may include a boat ride to George’s Island in Boston Harbor, where you’ll discover the island’s rich history. Get hands-on at the Museum of Science, visit the MIT Museum, and experience the mind-bending fun at the Museum of Illusions. Walk the historic Freedom Trail, exploring iconic landmarks like the State House. Take in a bird’s-eye view of the city from the Skywalk Observatory. We’ll also visit the Mapparium, a stunning three-story glass globe at the Mary Baker Eddy Library, and tour the Museum of Fine Arts, one of the largest and most comprehensive art museums in the U.S. Please note: Each day will begin and end at Thorndike Field in East Arlington in order to take the T from Alewife Station. DayTrippers will need to have a pre-loaded Charlie card/ticket for the week. -

Create Messi-inspired crafts—everything from custom jerseys to mini soccer balls—to showcase your passion for the game. Then, it’s time to hit the field, where we’ll break down some of Messi’s best moves and try to master them ourselves through fun drills and mini games. Whether you’re already a soccer pro or just getting started, don’t miss out on this exciting blend of fandom, fun, and fitness as we celebrate the greatest soccer star of all time. -
Climbing Club: On Belay
Climb to new heights this summer! Challenge yourself on both the outdoor course on Grove Street and the brand-new climbing wall in the AHS gym. Whether you’re a complete beginner or have some experience, get the skills needed to safely belay on a ropes course, including how to fasten your climbing harness, tie a figure 8 knot, and participate in a team belay. High schoolers will also have the opportunity to learn how to solo belay using the PBUS (pull, brake, under, slide) method. -
Hiking Adventures
FULL DAY: Explore the great outdoors! Join a professional hiking guide for a week of day hikes across Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire. Each day you’ll hop on the van and head off to explore a different wilderness area, tackling hikes of varying distances and experiencing unique landscapes and challenges. Gain valuable outdoor skills while enjoying the beauty of nature. Packs, walking poles, and other hiking equipment are included. -
EarthCORE: Environmental Leadership
Create the world you want to live in. Join our EarthCORE team and together we’ll explore natural areas and systems of Arlington and find out what people are doing to protect and improve our local natural resources. Locate where waste is unnecessary and think through what can be done about it. In order to have our voices heard, create media messaging about taking care of our environment and meet with local officials. Bring your curiosity and ideas for change. Come prepared to walk around town. -
Sports of All Sorts
Spend the day playing team sports and cooperative games you love, everything from soccer, basketball, and dodgeball, to variations of games like kickball and Capture the Flag. Bring your own game ideas, or think of new twists on traditional ones. -
You’ve Got Game!
Always a blast, You’ve Got Game! will get you playing many active and exciting games cooperatively as teams, and as individuals. Activities may include classics such as capture the flag, kickball, floor hockey, bowling, relay races, t-ball, and golf. With unique and sometimes crazy spins on traditional sports and gym games, this class is destined to get you moving, laughing, and having fun! -
Flag Football Squad
Have a blast learning the fundamentals of flag football while sharpening your skills and footwork on the field. You’ll practice passing, catching, and running, all while building strength and coordination in a fun and active environment. Whether you’re new to the game or looking to improve, come level up your flag football technique and overall fitness. -
Art on the Trail
FULL DAY: Create art focused on the natural world and your surroundings as you travel to different habitats across northeastern Massachusetts. Summit a mountain and learn tricks to create depth in your artwork, draw the animals you see in motion at the Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary, explore the tidal pools and make 3D rock sculptures from the granite quarry remnants at Halibut Point in Rockport, and learn watercolor techniques inspired by the flow of water over the massive rock formations at Purgatory Chasm. Each day we will visit a unique and beautiful landscape and create art in different media. -
History DayTrippers
Join us for an exciting adventure to explore the incredible history right in our own backyards. We’ll visit Minuteman National Park to uncover the stories of the American Revolution, the New Bedford Whaling Museum to dive into maritime life, and Lowell National Historical Park to experience the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution. Plus, we’ll check out the JFK Library to explore presidential history and the Kennedy Institute to learn more about the U.S. Senate. We’ll also walk Boston’s Freedom Trail with a stop at the legendary USS Constitution Museum. Step out of the classroom and connect with the past in the real world! Itineraries are tentative and subject to change based on availability and weather. -
Nathan’s Ninjas
Join Sensei Nathan for his dynamic and hugely popular class known for its fun games and teamwork-oriented atmosphere. Learn a mix of traditional Kempo Karate with elements of sport karate, tumbling, and grappling. This week will give you a true self-defense perspective, all while having fun and building confidence.
