Register at In-Control Crash Prevention In-Control Crash Prevention is a non-profit training program committed to helping reduce automobile crashes through hands-on training. Motor vehicle crashes are the number one killer of teens nationwide and the main causes are speed and inexperience. Students and their families can learn safety skills that can only be taught at In-Control’s unique closed course environment. Learn how to handle skidding, panic stops, tailgating, and emergency lane changes. This 4.5 hour course has been highly recommended to us by CS Driving School as a way to better learn how to handle unexpected driving situations. Screen Printing: T-Shirts & More (HS)

Personalize your style with the art of screen printing. Learn how to create custom t-shirts, tote bags, and more in this four-week course. Try a variety of screen printing methods, including cutting stencils, creating DIY screens, and using photo emulsion. All screen printing supplies are included—just bring your own apparel to transform into your own unique, wearable art.

Metalsmithing: Silver Jewelry Design (HS)

Incorporate personal design touches as you learn or refine fundamental metalsmithing skills in this all-level jewelry-making workshop. Beginning makers will fabricate a sterling silver band ring, and a sterling silver pendant with a bezel-set stone. Students with prior experience in metalsmithing/jewelry can further develop their skills with sterling silver while fabricating a ring and earrings with tube bezel-settings for faceted stones, exploring long-format prong settings for found objects, and making a chain link bracelet. Multiple soldering and finishing techniques will be covered, and individual design is encouraged. Materials are included.

SAT Math Review
High School & College Planning

Prepare for the math section of the SAT in these courses timed for the May 4 digital exam (held at AHS). Become familiar with the types of questions and effective methods to handle them through practice tests. Individual analysis of these test results will reveal where improvement is needed for each student, and a post-test will be completed to measure progress. Please note: To each class, please bring a College Board ID and password, a calculator, and a fully charged laptop. Evening instructor TBD

Prepare for the Language section of the SAT in these courses timed for the March and May digital exams (held at AHS). Become familiar with the types of questions and effective methods to handle them through practice tests. Individual analysis of these test results will reveal where improvement is needed for each student, and a post-test will be completed to measure progress. IMPORTANT! To each class bring: a fully charged laptop, a College Board ID and password, and the 2023 Official Digital SAT Study Guide by The College Board.
