One great thing about yoga is that it can be adapted to suit anyone’s needs. Chair yoga is especially beneficial for beginners, senior citizens, people with injuries, or those looking to learn how to apply yoga techniques at the office. As we practice chair yoga, our bodies relax and our minds quiet. During our time together, we will increase our self-awareness and revitalize our lives. Yoga has been proven to improve strength and flexibility, as well as reduce stress and manage pain. The chair yoga postures taught in this class can be integrated throughout your day.

Step into the landscapes that inspired Henry David Thoreau and experience the restorative power of nature through forest bathing. Led by a certified forest therapy guide, this walk will deepen your connection with the natural world. Through gentle, sensory-based invitations, you’ll slow down, engage mindfully with nature, and find a sense of calm and renewal. Rooted in the Japanese practice of shinrin-yoku, this experience offers a chance to unplug, recharge, and immerse yourself in Thoreau’s beloved landscapes. No experience necessary—just a willingness to be present. The location will be somewhere in Concord MA. A week before the program Nadine will email with the precise location and parking instructions.

Improve your balance and prevent falls with yoga poses designed to help you better navigate your daily life. We’ll combine breathing and meditation with strengthening and stretching exercises for the entire body, resulting in an overall feeling of wellness and relaxation. This class is appropriate for everybody, whether you are new to yoga or an experienced yogi(ni). A chair will be used to help us balance. Note: Wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat, yoga strap, and 2 yoga blocks. This class is for all levels.
