Have fun doing creative hands-on experiments that go beyond what you would learn in school. We’ll dabble in chemistry, physics, and engineering. Focus on things that fly by constructing paper helicopters, launching straw rockets, and participating in a paper airplane challenge. Build a marble maze, a spaghetti tower, and more. Do chemistry experiments, explore electricity, and get “attracted” to magnetism, then make a flip book about our experiments to take home and share.

Ready, set, takeoff! From paper airplanes to rockets, we’ll make all sorts of flying inventions while exploring aerodynamics and how things move through the air. Make, test, and reinvent catapults, kites, parachutes, and more, as we explore the laws of physics and the forces that keep objects afloat. This class will be just “plane” fun!

How did you do that?! Explore fascinating science “magic” as we make water disappear, grow glowing cubes, and reveal beasts that expand to 800 times their size. Create shimmering crystals that grow on a piece of paper. Watch colors change before your eyes and make objects move using the power of science.
