Classes for high school students
Explore a variety of fiber arts. Start by learning how to make your own loom, then use it to create a woven wallet or purse. Get creative with yarn to make adorable pompom pets. Practice threading a needle and learn basic embroidery stitches as you sew a pillow or stuffed toy. You’ll take home your fun, handmade projects and new skills to continue crafting with fiber on your own.
Deborah Campagna teaches art at Thompson School. She loves making art of all kinds, and is very excited to teach felting and fiber arts.
