Classes for high school students
Step into the spotlight and explore iconic Broadway musicals—from classics like The Sound of Music and Mary Poppins to modern hits like Matilda, Wicked, and High School Musical. Sing solos, belt out group numbers, learn fun choreography, and create crafts inspired by each show. Get ready for a “wicked” good time as you “step in time” and become “revolting children” in your Broadway debut!
Emily Tessier has been teaching US & World History at AHS for three years now, and spent the first three years of her career teaching on Nantucket Island! She is a certified History Nerd, Broadway Nerd, and Swiftie. When she's not in the classroom, you can find Ms. Tessier singing along to her favorite T Swift songs
