Classes for high school students
Enjoy a fun and flavorful week of learning about and cooking snacks and appetizers from around the world. We’ll prepare and sample a variety of small bites with an exciting international twist. Recipes may include creamy hummus with homemade pita, crispy potato latkes served with sour cream and applesauce, fresh guacamole with crispy tortilla chips, savory Indian samosas, vibrant Vietnamese spring rolls (gỏi cuốn), and more. Some dishes may be familiar, while others may be new to you—but they’ll all be delicious!
Emily Gatz has a bachelor's degree in Graphic Design and Master's degree in Art Education from Tufts University. She is a certified Massachusetts Art Educator K through 12. Certified Yoga Instructor with a specialization in kid's yoga. Emily has worked with kids for nearly a decade in various subject matters. She enjoys making acrylic painting, ceramics and food!
