SummerFun! 2025
Use Matisse’s paper cut outs, Frida Kahlo’s portraits, and the techniques of other famous artists as inspiration for your own artwork. We’ll talk about artists we love, study examples of their work, and then experiment with the drawing, painting, and collaging techniques that make their work so extraordinary.

During the school year, I am a first grade teacher in Brookline. I grew up in Arlington and attended Arlington Public Schools. I am looking forward to being at SummerFun for a third year!
Patti Luke
View Biography
Patti Luke is a lifelong learner with a passion for teaching. Retired from the elementary classroom, she enjoys working with children, helping them engage with the creative process and self-expression. Outside of the classroom, she is on the board of an organic farm, she is a distance runner, and a gardener. Patti finds joy in ceramics, collage, watercolor, and fiber arts.
