Classes for high school students
Do you suffer from tight hips? Through a variety of floor, seated, and standing exercises, we will gradually access the joints, strengthen muscles, and make space in the hip area. These simple mobility drills will fire up hip muscles, glutes, and sacroiliac joints and give space to the lower back by opening up the hamstrings. Explore and deepen range of movement; develop strength around the hip joint muscle and hip flexors; access scar tissue; find out how understanding hip joint function can help your daily standing-walking habits; and get the chance to rewire some old patterns. Open to anyone in need of decompressing tight hips and/or strengthening the area.Please note: Students must bring the following to class:
Karina Lambert has been a yoga and dance teacher since the 1980's, and has loved the role of sharing with others her passion for both. She has created and choreographed events nationally and internationally for people of all ages. With humor and compassion she tries to focus on what her students need. Karina also enjoys psychology, meditation, traveling and nature. She also speaks five languages.
