Massachusetts has many historical connections to chocolate, including being home to North America’s first chocolate factory, the country’s first roadside retail candy shop, and the final resting place of the famed Fannie Farmer. Victoria Kichuk has been a chocolate sommelier, writer, and tour guide for more than a decade, and brings a unique blend of engaging storytelling abilities with an accessible approach to food education that ushers audiences toward a new appreciation of chocolate. She has served as the corporate blogger for Hotel Chocolate (UK), and participated in Colombia Chocolate Week (2019) where she received a blessing from the spiritual leader of the Arhuacos indigenous tribe to carry the stories of their ancestral cacao to people around the world through her teachings. She is the founder of Cocoa Beantown, a chocolate tours and educational experiences company in Boston.
