Classes for high school students
Create two scrumptious rice bowls with recipes that have been savored and passed down from generation to generation as we focus on the basics of Indian cooking. We will make comforting lehsuni palak daal (lentils with spinach, garlic, and spices) and vibrant chana masala (chickpeas in a delectable, tangy sauce), as well as fluffy, fragrant basmati rice and a zesty restaurant-style onion chutney relish. These hearty, protein-rich vegetarian dishes can be made in advance and will be a great addition to your regular meal plan rotation.
Please bring several containers to take home finished dishes, and if you like, an apron.
