Classes for high school students
Make the bold and striking art of linocut your new expressive tool. Let the power of intuition connect you to your spirit animal. Then learn how to sketch or transfer your vision onto linoleum, use a tool to cut out the pattern, mix ink for printing, and print on fine paper and wood. You will gain the confidence to continue experimenting with linocut to create original works of art inspired by your imagination in this intense yet meditative class. New and returning students are welcome. Includes all materials.

Barbara Sitar is a professional visual artist based in Prague and Boston. Fluent in various arts and crafts, she mentors and instructs individuals, teaches groups, and leads workshops and retreats on creativity and expanded consciousness. This unique set of skills manifests in her own artwork and teaching practice that spans from glass, metal casting, live drawing, and painting to jewelry.
