Classes for high school students
Feeling adventurous? Join a cheesemonger to learn about and taste some of Formaggio’s funkiest favorite cheeses. As you taste your way through, you will come to appreciate the incredible skill needed to produce them. Although wine will not be served, throughout this tasting you will also learn helpful tips and tricks for pairing wine with more robust cheese flavors. You’ll leave this class having discovered some new favorites!
The Formaggio Kitchen family of stores began in 1978 with a vision of creating a European shopping experience in Cambridge. Best known for its cheese, Formaggio staff travel throughout the US and Europe visiting dairies, cheesemakers, and agers of artisan cheese whose products they import so that customers can experience the wonders of these artisan producers. Beyond cheese, they sell wine, beer, charcuterie, produce, olive oil, jams, honey, coffee, tea, spices, chocolate, confections, and a variety of other specialty food items.
