Classes for high school students
Explore origami, the art of paper folding. After learning how to decipher folding instructions, we will quickly move onto making our own creations. We will start with basic shapes like airplanes and simple animals that use a single piece of paper and then move on to using multiple sheets to construct more complicated creations. Open to beginners and those who have some paper folding experience.
Cesar Urrunaga (Mr. U.) is originally from Peru. Moved to the US during 5th grade and lived in Miami until graduating from college in 2000. Mr U. worked in the Financial Services industry until deciding to start a new career as a teacher in 2019. He has been teaching 7th grade math at OMS for the last 4 years.
