Classes for high school students
Dive into the history of comic-making and explore many different ways to create, design, and plan a comic book/strip sequence. Practice character development, story building, facial expression, and figure drawing to make your characters come alive. Look at samples of graphic novels, traditional comics, manga, and anime, then make your own comic that reflects your personal interests and style.
Hello! My name is Lars Henke, I am 3rd grade teacher at Bishop Elementary here in Arlington. I have been teaching for close to decade and having fun is my passion! I love bringing in interactive, challenging, cooperative games into my classroom. Here at SummerFun, I love teaching classes that both excite kids, but challenge them to achieve the skills we are working on!
