Adult Enrichment / Curious Minds -
Fall 2022

Anxious about how a changing climate will impact the Northeastern U.S., Massachusetts, and Arlington? Hear about the latest developments in climate sciences, and join a lively group discussion focusing on individual and collective actions we can take to help mitigate and adapt to climate change. We’ll cover the newest discoveries, drill down to regional and local climate impacts, and discuss ways to reduce our carbon footprint individually and as a society. New and returning students are welcome.

Benjamin Brown-Steiner

Ben has studied and taught atmospheric and climate science for over a decade. He is particularly interested in grasping the complexity of atmospheric chemistry and climate science and the ways in which humans impact, and are impacted by, our atmosphere.

After taking classes at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology over a decade ago, Ben is also a serious birdwatcher, fascinated with song birds and the complexity and variety of bird vocalizations. Together with his wife Toni Sacco, a birdwatcher herself, Ben also enjoys leads bird watching field trips.
