Spark changes in your community, speak up for justice, and confront bigotry and bias. Continue in the footsteps of your peers like Greta Thunberg and the activists at the Stoneman Douglas School in Parkland, Florida. Take your activism beyond just protesting on the street (like many of you have already been doing nightly for the Black Lives Matter movement) to taking action in your daily life to encourage a more equitable society. Get techniques for creating the improvements you want to see, including how to engage people your age and adults in effective conversations. Leave with a variety of tactics for handling public attacks and microaggressions in settings such as social media, in school, or at family gatherings. Open to students grades 8 - 12.
