A Stroll in St Paul’s Cemetery (Part II): A Place of Faith, Symbols and Stories

Adult Enrichment / Walking Tours -
Spring 2021

Hear new stories from a different section of this East Arlington Cemetery. New and returning students will enjoy strolling through this sacred landscape. The final resting place of craftsmen, laborers, and entrepreneurs, buried here from the 1880s–1930s, own life stories filled with challenges. Not to be ignored are the narratives of women who focused on the family circle without neglecting social causes. This walk celebrates some St. Paul residents, many of them immigrants, as they actively built a resilient community. Please note: Wear comfortable clothing and appropriate footwear for walking. Students will be asked to wear a mask and follow social distancing guidelines. Meeting location will be included in your receipt. All walks meet rain or shine.
