The popularity of tequila has exploded in recent years and for good reason. It’s delicious! Learn about this distinctive distillate of the blue agave plant from Jalisco, Mexico. Sample a range of exceptional varieties, discuss tequila’s history, and learn why so many people love it. Our tasting will start with the brand that introduced ultra-premium tequila to the world: Patron. Then we will move on to some exciting varieties (including silver, reposado, and añejo) that show how good tequila can be. A selection of tequila samples will be available for safe pickup in Arlington. Pickup directions will be sent out to registered students starting one week prior to the class date. Then we will taste and discuss them together in a Zoom session online. If you haven’t given tequila a proper try, prepare to be amazed! Tuition includes a $25 beverage fee. For students 21+.
