Come learn how to make mouthwatering Japanese dumplings that have a heavenly combination of a tender and crispy outside and a juicy filling on the inside. We’ll start by making the gyoza skin from scratch, a dough that we will roll thin to yield a crispy bite. Then we’ll make the filling, a classic combination of pork and cabbage, and learn how to shape the dumplings before frying them in a pan and finishing with a bit of water to steam at the end. Combine this delicious dish with a dipping sauce we’ll make together and a side of Japanese rice you can make beforehand.
Please note: A list of ingredients and substitutions along with a recipe for Japanese rice to make a side dish will be emailed once the class has reached minimum enrollment. Ages 8+
