Off-the-Beaten-Path Hikes
Adult Enrichment / Walking Tours -
Winter 2023
Spend time outdoors this winter and join one or both of these guided hikes to locations you might not have visited before. As we explore these extraordinary sites, we’ll take time to gaze at the natural formations we encounter and hear stories of historical significance along the way. These hikes are easy to moderate.
Mt. Misery, Lincoln: Straddling the Concord River, Mt. Misery is a large tract of forest that extends into Walden Pond in Concord.
Jericho Forest, Weston: A former farmland with vintage old roads crisscrossing through aged farmland, various forest trees can be found here.
Please note: Meeting location will be emailed before the first meeting. All walks meet rain or shine. Wear comfortable clothing and shoes and bring water and snacks to have throughout the hike.
