Learn American Mah Jongg

Adult Enrichment / Recreation & Travel -
Winter 2023

Learn to play this fun and fascinating game that combines a Chinese set of tiles with American rules and strategy. We will cover the fundamentals of the game, progressing through familiarity with the tiles, building the wall, understanding the Charleston series of tile exchanges, and learning the hands. Please note: Students need a National Mah Jongg League official card, if you don’t have one, please select the $10 option online during registration.

Laura Zoll

Laura Zoll enjoys teaching and sharing her enthusiasm for mah jongg with players of all levels. When away from the majj table, Laura is a medieval musicologist.
