There is absolute wonder in the life of plants! Explore the world of biology through fun hands-on scientific analysis as we poke, prod, and observe a slew of intricate and fascinating behaviors in nature. Extract pigmentation from plants, observe capillary action, learn and experiment with paper chromatography, and explore photosynthesis in a variety of ways. Learn what all of these scientific terms mean and observe them in action. Lab coats are optional.

I really enjoy the process of learning and teaching. I believe that kids are capable of understanding really interesting ideas through exploration and experimentation. I am fascinated by the way they describe what they observe and how they approach the world experimentally. I've taught college aged humans for over 10+ years. Learning at that level is highly competitive and often it feels like the students miss the beauty of the science. I'd like to bring the beauty that I see in science to a younger audience.
